One of the resources I came across was that of someone I’d followed for a long time i.e. Dick Sutphen. He has a 2-part audio MP3 product titled ‘Manifest a Miracle’ which I would recommend for anyone who is seeking a miracle in their life and open to trying new things. The program consists of a ‘prep’ part in part 1 (a full meditative session in it’s own right) and a second part that you can listen to anytime you desire.

Along with this I also got a meditation guide CD from Shakti Gawain. I’d come across her works many years ago and I knew it worked but nothing prepared me for what I received this last week.

Miracle

Let’s cut a long story short and just say that this week I manifested more miracles than I think I’ve ever manifested in such a short period of time. It was the start of a new year and so typically this is when people decide they want ‘new stuff’ to happen in their lives…I wasn’t looking for ‘new stuff’ per se, but I did have some really stressful issues going on.

By focusing on what I wanted and NOT focusing on what I didn’t want, along with the tools I mentioned above, manifested some results that I can only describe as pure miracles happened in my life. These are things that were, from a normal level of expectation, highly unlikely to happen. These occurred both personally and professionally.

My goal in writing this entry isn’t to convince you of anything. I’m not trying to get you to change your religion, your spirituality, your faith or whatever you believe in…BUT, I do want you to know that you have the power to create your own destiny once you accept that you are part of a much, much larger entity. Harnessing the power of that entity is what will allow you to attract the people and circumstances you desire into your life.

The things I experienced I would never normally have expected to happen, and I’m a pretty highly positive guy most of the time.

In parting, I really want to encourage you to be inspired and believe that whatever you want to achieve is within the realms of YOUR possibility, if you have FAITH, if you have the DESIRE, if you have the EXPECTATION of the outcome and if you back this up with ACTION.

The question is…”Can you do that?”

You can make 2012 your best year yet if you’re prepared to make a few changes and keep focused on making other small changes as the minutes, hours, days and weeks go by.

The question is whether you’re motivated enough to do that.

How To Make 2012 Your Best Year Yet

A mentor of mine used to say that if you want to be successful (which I’m assuming applies to you in 2012 and beyond), there are a handful of things you need to do:

1. Be clear about your goal
2. Find the information you need
3. Apply it

That seems incredibly simple…because it is. The challenge is in making this happen consistently, on a regular basis in your life.

I didn’t believe it could be that easy at first. At that point in time I was just starting a career in consulting – Long story short, I had to learn the had way that the best way to achieve your goals is to keep things as simple as possible, BUT, to do the things that need to be done consistently, just likethe 3-step approach I shared with you aove.

Your Assignment

You’ll get more information on how to make this happen in upcoming posts, however, for now, find a pen and paper and get clear about WHAT you want to achieve, WHY you want to achieve it, WHEN and what you need to know that you don’t. Once you have this information it becomes a lot easier to start to create a simple plan for the next IMMEDIATE step you need to take e.g. update your resume or get out more often so you start to network and meet the type of people you aspire to become and so on.

By the time you come back to discover more, at the very least, if you’re serious about making 2012 your best year yet, you should have  completed the first 2 steps.

Fit over 40?

You might believe now that 40 is the time when it all starts to fall apart…and you’re actually right. When the BIG 40 arrives you’ve got to take measures to ensure you don’t end up looking like you’re turning 60 (nothing against 60 year olds!)

The question YOU need to answer (and forget about anyone else for now) is “Do I want to be fit over 40?”

“Yes” is probably the answer I’m guessing, because without health, life after 40 rapidly becomes more like just a matter of time before it’s all over. That may come across as a bit morbid but the truth is, it’s harder to stay healthy after 40 if you don’t work at it and that’s why I, being a member of that demographic myself, searched for products, programs and anything else that would help me get wiser and remain fit over 40.

What did I find?

What I found were many products and programs that promised to show me how to be fit over 40, but the one that has worked the best for me and is highly recommended by others in our age group who want to be fit over 40 is a program called, wait for it…Fit Over 40 by Jon Benson and Tom Venuto.

You might have heard of one or both of them or neither of them and it doesn’t matter either way. What does matter to you is that Jon Benson has received world-wide international acclaim for his body transformation programs and Venuto has written in and still writes for leading fitness magazines.

Something interesting about these two folks is that they come from totally different fitness backgrounds, however, both of them are outstanding examples of how to be fit over 40

I can’t stand many hypnotists.

In private conversations with many of these guys I have found that several have their own best interests placed first – instead of those whom they are say they try to help.  Some are great at what they do, but several really need to make much deeper impacts on their clients than they do currently.

The drawback to most of these less-than-stellar hypnotists is that they fail to learn from those who could accomplish more in one “session” (actually just a conversation) than these hypnotists do in several one-hour sessions with their clients.  And, it’s easy to learn about these masters as their works were chronicled… for over 3 decades!!

All that these hypnotists need to do is learn from one of the “fathers” of hypnosis, Milton Erickson.

But when asked why they don’t learn from him, many say that Erickson’s works and chronicles are just too much to read.
